Stuart Shiff

Mr. Shiff, CEO and founding member of DivcoWest, is primarily responsible for leading the firm’s investment and management strategies. He is a principal of all entities established by Divco and is responsible for their oversight. Under his direction over fifteen million square feet of commercial property throughout the U.S. and Canada has been acquired. Prior to DivcoWest’s formation, Mr. Shiff worked at Divco Ltd. in Canada as a development officer responsible for land entitlement, development, construction, and leasing. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering, Urban Land Institute, and the Pension Real Estate Association. Mr. Shiff currently serves on the board of the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University, the policy advisory board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business, and the board of The Role Model Program, a San Jose, California-based initiative for underprivileged youth.
