Ronald Ratner

Mr. Ratner currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Director of Forest City Enterprises, Inc. In addition, he is President of Forest City Residential Group which comprises all of the multifamily residential ownership, development, management and financial activities of Forest City Enterprises. Mr. Ratner’s experience with Forest City began in 1975 and has included direct development, construction, financing and management responsibilities, beginning with individual projects and executive supervision of multiple large scale developments on a national level. He has had direct responsibility for over 40,000 residential units in 15 States. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis University and completed the Masters Program in Architecture at UCLA. Mr. Ratner is active in community and civic organizations and has served or is currently serving on the boards of The Ohio University, Brandeis University, Park Synagogue, and the Western Reserve Historical Society, among others. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board for the Harvard Real Estate Initiative and Harvard Design Magazine’s Practitioners’ Advisory Board. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and a Director of the National Multi Housing Council, and has served as a member of FNMA’s National Housing Impact Advisory Council.
