Diane Hartley

Diane Hartley joined The Clark Companies in 2004, where she leverages her twenty-five years of experience in design, construction, development and management of facilities -- across government, education, and commercial sectors -- to forge new facilities-based public-private partnerships. Ms Hartley serves as Managing Director of Clark Construction Group, supporting Clark’s business strategy and business development in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Previously Ms. Hartley was with Spaulding & Slye Colliers, where she led the Public Sector Consulting practice, and with Jones Lang LaSalle, where she was Director of the Public Institutions practice. Ms. Hartley also served at the U.S. General Services Administration, where she assumed a lead role in establishing asset management and portfolio management functions for over 70 million square feet of owned and leased space in the National Capital Region. Prior to her tenure at GSA, Ms. Hartley was an Associate with the JBG Companies, a Washington, DC real estate developer and property manager, where she oversaw commercial development projects and provided advisory services for public and private clients.

Ms. Hartley holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Princeton University, and an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. She is on the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Research Park and the Advisory Board of Princeton University’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Other professional affiliations include: African American Real Estate Professionals, Commercial Real Estate Women; District of Columbia Building Industry Association; Federal Real Property Association; and the Urban Land Institute.
